Friends, have you tried Besito Mexican yet? I've been eager to visit (Mexican being among my favorite foods) and finally got around to doing so, thanks to a very kind invitation to me and Jon right before the holidays. On that note, I first want to say that it was so lovely to kick off the holiday season with a chill date night -- I highly recommend you do that next year! And second, I wanted to share a few reasons why Besito is a great meetup spot:
Farmer’s markets may feel like a distant summer memory (as does being outside without ALL THE LAYERS), but these 14 spots keep the fresh food coming through the winter, too. From produce, meat, and fish to wine, sweets, and cheese, these markets offer a fantastic way to support local growers and food artisans while enjoying their tastiest in-season offerings. Check out the list below (alphabetically ordered by location) to find a market near you!
Today, Lindsey shares a special local gems edition, focused on 3 fantastic maker sites:
Though my 10-year-old son likes hockey and baseball, his true passion seems to lie in science and engineering. He's a budding maker, wants to be a robot designer, is often found poring over a book about physics, has a periodic table poster on his wall, loves Minecraft, and delights in home science projects (cue baking soda and vinegar!).
Today, Katy shares inspiration to get out and sled:
The string of recent storms inspired us to shake the cobwebs off of our snow tubes and toboggans for some great sledding. Below includes some of my favorite sledding spots in my old neighborhood around Watertown as well as other recommendations from the Boston Mamas community. Share your favorite sledding spots in the comments below!
